Project manager

From the signature to the delivery: you take full ownership of the project.

Contract
Full-time, permanent employment contract (joint committee 200)
Profile
Experienced in roofing, strongly organised and precise
Region
Flexible: from home, at the office in Herne (Pajottegem), in the warehouse or on site

As soon as the contract is signed and the deposit invoice is paid, you take over the client. You introduce yourself as their permanent contact, place the 'da(n)k je wel' sign at their home and make sure they know exactly what to expect from day one.

From there you build the project: preparation, planning, materials, permits and steering the crew. You are the hub between client, roofers, suppliers and management, reporting directly to the owner.

What you'll do

  • Fully prepare projects: technical work-out, required materials, timing and site planning
  • Introduce yourself to the client as first point of contact and place the 'da(n)k je wel' sign
  • Answer all questions from clients and suppliers, from start to delivery
  • Order materials, select the right supplier and maintain supplier relationships
  • Negotiate discounts and bulk purchases and follow up on interesting opportunities
  • Arrange permits and applications (e.g. for a crane or signage)
  • Build the crew planning and follow it up extremely strictly
  • Steer and brief the roofing team and visit the sites
  • Make sure the right materials are on site in time
  • Deliver projects within the planned hours and budget and keep an eye on efficiency
  • Keep the warehouse tidy (all orders arrive there) and dispose of waste correctly

What we ask

  • Thorough knowledge of roofing: build-up, insulation, waterproofing, materials and execution
  • Experience in a leading or coordinating role on sites or in project preparation
  • Extremely responsible and precise, you leave nothing to chance
  • Strong communicator towards workers, clients and management
  • Able to juggle many factors at once while keeping the overview
  • Commercial insight to negotiate well with suppliers
  • Practical and flexible: a run to the site or the waste yard is no problem
  • Driving licence B

What we offer

  • Full-time employment contract with a salary based on experience (joint committee 200)
  • Company car, laptop, phone and meal vouchers
  • Flexibility in hours and workplace: home, office, warehouse or site
  • Plenty of autonomy and a direct line to management
  • Beautiful full renovations with a well-known player in the sector
  • Room to shape processes, planning and supplier agreements

Growth path

You get the freedom to grow your role: more projects, more responsibility and a move into operational leadership are open for discussion.
