As a diender you support the roofers and crew leaders with everything that keeps a site running: preparing and handing over materials, setting up work zones and keeping the site tidy and safe.

It is the ideal entry role in roofing: you learn the trade up close and grow into assistant roofer once you master the basics.

What you'll do

  • Prepare materials and tools according to planning and hand them over on the roof in time
  • Set up work zones: protective covers, safe walking routes, supply of insulation, timber, tiles and EPDM
  • Help with loading and unloading, place ladders, scaffolding and platforms under supervision
  • Keep waste, debris and obstacles under control and leave the site clean
  • Use PPE correctly and report unsafe situations immediately
  • Take progress photos and flag shortages or deviations in time

  • Safety before speed, even if the work slows down
  • Dutch-speaking, driving licence B is a plus
